Project Overview
The Thiruvananthapuram Metro Rail project connects Technocity at Pallipuram through the Kazhakkoottam tech hub, Kerala University Kariavattom campus, Government Medical College, State Secretariat, and Thampanoor Central Railway Station to Pallichal. Designed with lightweight modern rolling stock and driverless CBTC signalling, it provides high-frequency mass transit for over 250,000 daily commuters.
